Departure from Marrakech towards the South, and from there to the port of Tizi n’Tichka that reaches its maximum point at 2,260 m. During our trip towards Ouarzazate, we will visit the Glaui and the Taourirt Kasbahs, that later was home for the members of the Glaui Dynasty and their servants. We continue towards the ‘’Valley of the Roses’’ and the town of El -Kalaa_M’Gouna, famous for its manufacture of rose water. During the route towards Ouarzazate you will visit the Glaui, and a place named Taourirt that was shelter to the members of the dynasty Glaui and its servants.. From here, we will go through the Gorges of Dades, then continue through Dades’s Valley, (route of the thousand Kasbahs) where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the oasis and the palm groves, the numerous Kasbahs and the landscape of the Middle Atlas. We will arrive to the Todgha Gorge where we will spend the night in a hotel.
We pick you up at 9:00am after breakfast and drive 2 hours along the magical Drâa River, one of the longest in Morocco stopping at somel adobe kasbahs and Berber villages on the way. We have lunch in Alnif. We drive two hours to Merzouga, Stopping along the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, visiting the local Gnoua people. We then have a two hour camel ride thru the dunes and spend the night in a berber tent.
You will have breakfast at the camp before we pick you up at 9:00am, drive to Todra valley and have lunch at the spectacular Todra Gorge. We stops along the Dades vally, the monkey fingers vally and the Dades Gorge, where you will sleep the night in a hotel.
You will have breakfast at the hotel before we pick you up at 9:00am to drive via the thousand kasbah route, the rose vally, a visit to Skoura oisis with it’s authentic 17 century kasbah, and a visit to Taourirt kasbah (the former residence of the Glaoui). We have lunch in Ourzazat then drive 4 hours with stops along the way via the tizi ntichka pass back to Marrakech.
